R.I.P. Les Paul


Damn.

That sucks..

This guy was waaaay more influential than Micheal Jackson [No Shots]. This man pioneered multitrack recording. Oh and he invented an instrument called the electric guitar.... He was jamming on an electric guitar in 1929! Gibson only started production on the Les Paul in 1952. In his spare time he won Grammies alone and for numerous collaborations with his wife, Mary Ford. He has been inducted in the National Inventors Hall of Fame and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
