If you haven't heard, some dude in the UK created a facebook group urging people to go on itunes and buy Rage's song Killing In The Name Of to make it go # 1 in the month of December. His whole quest is to topple the dominance that the X-Factor (UK version of American Idol) singers have been enjoying for some while..

So it's looking like this facebook idea is going to work and Rage is going to be #1. The BBC thought it would be a marvelous idea to have Rage perform the song on their breakfast show (??). Exceptttttt... they asked them to leave out the "Fuck You I Won't Do What You Tell Me" part.......... Who asks a band called Rage Against The Machine to censor their line that says they won't censor themselves.. and more stupidly... believes them when they say they will

Couple months back, Dame Dash announced that he, alongside The Black Keys and hand full of hip-hop artist ( Mos Def, Jim Jones, Pharoahe Monch, Rza etc) would be putting together and releasing an album titled Blak Roc( Bastards stole your term Freddie!!!)

I'm over here now.

Anyways much to my disappointment, the album turned out to be a less than stellar listen with many of the songs coming off sounding like jam sessions that should have STAYED being jam sessions. The production is repetitive, and many if not all of the artist on this project sound terribly uninterested in what they're doing and are simply there as a favor to Mr. Dash ( you STAY loosing nIgga! )

The best song on the whole cut would be Why Can’t I Forget Him (featuring Nicole Wray. She shines the most on this otherwise lazy project.

Better luck next time Dame!
