Photographer Matthew Niederhauser documents the burgeoning rock scene that is currently fucking shit up in Beijing. He has put all his pictures and adventures in a new book called Sound Kapital.

And considering the shape and energy of its emerging underground music scene, it’s hard not to project a parallel mindset onto China similar to that of the United States in the 1960s and ’70s.
What does the "scene" sound like??? I was trying to find a bunch of songs straight mp3 or rip them off of youtube... but i came across an article Dazed Digital did... and well they have a lot of the songs I was looking for in a nice player and shit.... so go there and ENJOY
