I love it when bands stick it to the BBC..
If you haven't heard, some dude in the UK created a facebook group urging people to go on itunes and buy Rage's song Killing In The Name Of to make it go # 1 in the month of December. His whole quest is to topple the dominance that the X-Factor (UK version of American Idol) singers have been enjoying for some while..
So it's looking like this facebook idea is going to work and Rage is going to be #1. The BBC thought it would be a marvelous idea to have Rage perform the song on their breakfast show (??). Exceptttttt... they asked them to leave out the "Fuck You I Won't Do What You Tell Me" part.......... Who asks a band called Rage Against The Machine to censor their line that says they won't censor themselves.. and more stupidly... believes them when they say they will
Annyways video footage finally dropped on youtube of the performance..
To keep in the spirit of sticking it to the BBC.. here is footage of when they forced Nirvana to play with a backing track...ha
